It's super sharp. It cuts everything beautifully -- perfect, thin slices every time.
It's got blades on the front and back so it cuts twice as fast as most other mandolins.
It's super easy to operate - no moving parts, no little parts to lose.
It takes up virtually no space. It slides in on its side in my kitchen drawer (blades facing the drawer sides for safety).
It's pretty.
It has rubberized feet that keep it from slipping on whatever surface you set it on while cutting.
It's sturdy.
It fits over any bowl or plate - no special container needed. I can slice right into the measuring cup, the mixing or salad bowl, or even right over the sandwich. Less to wash is a good thing.
It's easy to wash. Just rinse (or sometimes a quick swipe with a soapy brush), rap it on the side of the sink to remove the water, & put it back in the drawer.
