(More customer reviews)I thought (at first) that they seemed somewhat cheaply made because of the plastic handles. Boy...was I ever wrong! The wide plastic handles are easier to hold and manipulate than a standard thin metal one. The plastic is extremely light and great for folks with arthritic hands (like me).
BE VERY CAREFUL! This is not to be used by children or inept/clumsy individuals as the cutting blades are EXTREMELY sharp.
The sharp cutting blade glides effortlessly through potatoes, carrots and other veggies. I haven't used the julienne blade yet but I'm sure it will be terrific.
I have a drawer full of the major name brand peelers and they are soon to go into the garbage.
I have been looking for a potato peeler that was this easy for years! These peelers almost make peeling potatoes FUN!
