(More customer reviews)I saw this and bought it because I've always wanted an herb chopper,I noticed right off the bat that you cannot use it like a regular straight edged knife, so if you're trying to chop up and down, you won't like it, it's more like a rocking motion, because of the circular blade. I went to the williams sonoma website and they have the knife plus a video, (just search for kuhn rikon herb) There's a woman demonstrating the knife and 3 different ways to use it. Holding it normally, 2nd, placing your hand on the inside lower part of the handle (my favorite because it gives more leverage) and thirdly using it backwards. Just look at the video, it's hard to explain. Positive points, it's very sharp, it does work. I minced garlic and cilantro with it. Negative points, it's supposed to be nonstick, but I had to wipe off garlic bits, and I could definitely live without it, it's cool but not indispensable.
