Besides, you were always left with sharp edges on the cans and lids. So I started looking for a replacement. I have arthritic hands and this opener is very easy to use. The knob is curved so that you have a good grip when turning it. The lids come off effortlessly and they don't fall into the can. Since none of the contents of the cans leaks out, the opener stays clean.
