This is more for lighter things- eggs and light batters, and it mixes or gets air in your mixture really fast. I'm a huge fan of Kuhn Rikon items, and I have a large collection of them. I don't think I have ever been disappointed with anything they have made- and this item is no exception. It's just perfect (except for non-stick, of course- don't try to use this on non-stick)
