(More customer reviews)I ordered this product because I was looking for a mandoline that wouldn't take up much space. This is great because it fits in a small drawer. I used it the other day to slice potatoes, and it worked very well. Be sure you use the finger guard, though. As with most mandolines, it is very easy to cut yourself if you're not careful. The only downside to this product is that it only does julienne or 1/8-in slices. Most madolines are adjustable and allow you to make slices of different thickness. But those also take up more space, so if you have a smaller kitchen, I highly recommend this product.
