(More customer reviews)I used other popular cookie presses for holiday baking and found them to be a hassle to operate and to clean, the last one I had didn't provide enough leverage to extrude the dough. Someone recommended this one from Kuhn Rikon and then I ordered it out of a catalog for 1999 Xmas cookie baking. This one is really slick. The trigger grip mechanism allows one-handed operation so you have the other hand free to cut dough or finish forming cookies. I like the see-through body so I know exactly how much material I have left. All the parts are nicely finished and it's really easy to clean. There are lots of choices of dies and tips and I found the star die exactly the right shape for Scandinavian Vannilie Kranser. This is so much better than others on the market!
