(More customer reviews)Guess I'm still looking for the vintage 1950, Holy Grail of all spatulas, the one I learned to cook with, the 'Batter Beater'. I was a little disappointed, too, that the blade was not as thin nor as angled as expected. Suggest Amazon attempt to show that critical bit of info in the future.
The spatula works well, though, and can be washed in the dishwasher. The handle gets slippery when greasy, although does not heat up when left on the edge of a hot pan - good news to those of us who are forgetful. It fits the curve of a pan or bowl, and it's truly a great multi-tasker: goes from helping break eggs for the omlette, beating them, and turning/plating said omlette with surprising ease, again, due to that tricky little curve at the end.
It has quickly become a favorite kitchen tool (second to, of course, the Better Batter Beater!). Strongly suggested, especially for the price.
